YESENIA RUIZ

Yesenia has experienced in working with couples and utilizing the faith-based How We Love framework where she allows clients to explore each other’s Love Styles and teach them how to reflect, validate, and increase their levels of understanding of each other. Yesenia also has experience in working with college students on the Autism Spectrum and also served in the Children’s Ministry at my local church for 4 years where she was able to lead small and large groups for third and fourth graders. She has personal experience in being introduced to going to therapy at a very young age and utilize tools through Play and Art Therapy when working with children.

Yesenia served as the Senior Academic Coach at Hope International University, where she is currently also earning her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. Yesenia is passionate about helping individuals that are seeking a sense of self and feel like they have lost purpose in life. Yesenia is especially passionate about helping children and teens that have endured hardships and are in need of emotional guidance and support. She offers clients a safe space where they can come and feel heard, seen and understood. She also hope to equip them with the tools and resources that they can use inside and out of the therapy room.
